What are Supplementary Cementations Materials (SCM)?

Supplementary Cementations Materials (SCM) are the materials (like silica fumes, meta-kaolin, fly ash, slag etc) which improve the properties of concrete and enhance its durability, by reducing pore size in concrete through better particle distribution and through increased packing density of the concrete.
