These are the cements
manufactured by special techniques so as to achieve the potential strength
nearer to the “intrinsic strength”
of cement paste. These techniques reduce
porosities to a considerable extent (from normal 20-30% to as low as 1.7%).
“Warm Pressing” means applying heat & pressure simultaneously.
Sometimes “Pressure Densification techniques” (which means applying pressure
alone) can be adopted.
Compressive strength and
tensile strength as high as 650MPa & 68MPa respectively can be achieved by these
techniques.
